Hello, all the peers, so, another rising star named Rohit Yadav is garnering attention nowadays from all over. Rohit proved himself in the recent event of men’s javelin throw held on Thursday, 21st July 2022 at the incredibly reputed World Athletics Championships in Eugene. According to the reports, the young athlete registered an 80.42m throw in the qualifying round. In addition to this, Rohit Yadav came to the sixth in his group and 11th overall to make the 12th man final field. Earlier to Neeraj and Rohit, Davinder Singh Kang was holding the title of the only Indian male who managed to reach the finals of the World Championship Javelin. Current Olympic javelin champion Neeraj also shows some tremendous actions and steals the spotlight with his splendid performance. The athlete belonged to Group A at Hayward Field and registered a record of a throw of 88.39m in his debuting attempt breaking the qualifying records of 83.50m.
The current world champion of javelin throw named Anderson Peters came holding the javelin and surpassed the distance of Chopra by registering a throw of 89.91m. The record shifted Chopra to the second position all over the scorecard. Germany’s player named Julian Weber throw his javelin at a distance of 87.8m and Pakistan’s javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem confirmed his ninth position with a record of 81.71m at the world championship. However, London-based gold medalist javelin thrower Keshorn Walcott faced disappointment due to his indolent performance as his record of 78.87m came at the 16th position in the tournament.
