Lil Durk, an American rapper and singer was performing at the Lollapalooza festival when smoke grenades struck him in the face. Yes, a smoke cannon fired and struck Lil Durk in the face as he was performing on stage. As the music stopped playing, he attempted to hide his face with his T-shirt. Taking to Instagram, the rapper shared a picture of his eye bandaged and wrote that due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, he will take a break and focus on his health. He added that he finished his performance yesterday for his fans. Fans have responded to the 3 Headed Goat singers being hurt by smoke cannons while performing at Lollapalooza and continuing anyhow. Some fans also praised the rapper for finishing his act by putting his fans before his health.

Headliners for this year’s Lollapalooza included Metallica, Dua Lipa, J.Cole, and Green Day. Along with Dua Lipa, Machine Gun Kelly performed on the main stage on Saturday. The festival has also revealed the dates for its 2023 India edition, which will be held on January 28 and January 29. Over 60,000 people can attend the festival’s first iteration in India, which will have four stages with more than 20 hours of live music presented by some of the biggest artists both locally and internationally.

Talking about Lil Durk, he is an American singer and rapper. Besides, he is also the lead member and founder of the collective and record label Only The Family (OTF). The rapper became well-known with the release of his Signed to the Streets mixtape series in 2013 and 2014, at which point Def Jam Recordings signed him. The rapper’s Remember My Name debut album was released in 2015, followed by Lil Durk 2X in 2016, then Durk’s departure from Def Jam in 2018.

Durk earned a contract with Alamo Records after releasing the mixtape Just Cause Y’all Waited in March 2018. The rapper made it to the Billboard Hot 100 with his single Viral Moment followed by Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 in 2020. Most recently, he released an album under the title 7220, which also become his second number one album in a row. He performed at the Rolling Loud Miami festival recently too.
