The international friendship occurs every year on 30 July whereas the National friendship day of India occurs on the first Sunday of August. This year Friendship day befalls on the 2nd of August 2020. In many other countries, it is celebrated on different days like in Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and Uruguay friendship day is celebrated on 20th July. In Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, and UAE it is also celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
